A lovely rural area. Very tranquil and picturesque. Plenty of wildlife including red squirrels on the site. Lovely scenic drives in the area and lots of attractions for adults and children alike. Handy for Lake District, Northern Pennine area and Yorkshire Dales.

I recommend this holiday for persons interested in wildlife and having a peaceful holiday. Plenty of high standard eating places close by and at reasonable prices.

This lodge was exceptionally clean, we had a very friendly welcome and a great welcome pack. The area is filled with wildlife which you can sit and watch from your lodge. My stay here was perfect in every way and I will definitely be going back.
